I based this video on other trailers for space Sci-Fi movies. A good example is the new Independence Day: Resurgence movie trailer.
Now for the project:
First I downloaded an image from a MPAA rating, and modified it to add some humour to the mix. I did not know what font they were using, so I used letters from the image to form my own text. Unfortunately the picture was not of the best quality, so the text did get a bit pixelated.
Then I animated my logo and used the "Title" option to add some text to the screen.
I then used the opening from one of the episodes and added some more text to it, to show the full title of this project. Unfortunately Premier does not have motion tracking, so I just animated it using scale and positioning to approximate the effect in the original video.
Here I used the "Title" option to add some text to the screen, while audio was running in the background. The audio was speed up, without keeping the pitch, in order to distort it and make it sound like it was a synthetic voice. Since the man was speaking slowly, this worked out fine.
I then added several clips of UFOs to make it look like there were several different types of ships approaching Earth. In the background you can hear Epic Slow Music, to accentuate the slow pace of the scenes. Some of these clips had to be speed up (due to time constraints) and some didn't.
Added another "Title" with a man's voice in the background, describing possible Alien bases on Earth. The Title fades out midway through his speech to show more images of UFOs.
Another Title, and the start of a fast paced instrumental music, to fit in with the approaching fight scenes.
Several fight scenes and explosions, most are in space (so obviously you can't hear them) but the ones on Earth have audio, so for those instances I decreased the sound of the background music so we can clearly hear the explosions.
A hellish apocalyptical scene on Earth, after all those explosions, along with very mellow music in the background.
