Disc Label

For this label I wanted something along the lines of what I had already done. Something simple, with boarder line minimalistic, but that also fit the theme.

Made a 'fish' (using the pen tool) and created a middle circle, above the fish, and reduced its opacity to 50%, to give the illusion of the transparent part of the Disc. Also created 2 more outer circles, used the Exclude Tool, in Pathfinder, to only get the outer rim of the circles, then I lowered the Opacity to 50%.

Added the Blu-Ray and my company logo, as well as the title of the movie.

Added a background to the Disc by creating a clipping mask and clipping the background to the shape. I also lowered the Opacity of the 'fish' so that some of the stars shine through.

Added planet Earth, some Grey Aliens and text....
